Why do I need to book a time slot for my visit?
The time slot booking allows for a relaxed, hassle free visit to the farm. It means we can minimise queuing time, have enough parking available and sufficient Christmas Trees for everyone who visits the farm.
How do I book a time slot for my visit?
Visit our website christmastreefarm.ie and click on Book Now. This will bring you to the page where you can select the date and time you would like to visit the farm.
When is ‘Pick your own tree’ in the forest available?
Forest cutting is only available during daytime hours (last time slot for forest cutting is 3:30pm). A wide selection of fresh pre-cut trees are available for evening farm visits.
What does my time slot mean?
The time slot you have reserved indicates the time slot within which you can arrive at the farm. Please make sure you arrive during your time slot window as late arrivals may be refused entry. You are welcome to enjoy your visit to the farm for up to 90 minutes. This allows us to ensure you have a leisurely and safe visit and for us to welcome as many people to the farm as safely as we can. Please arrive on time (not early or late) to avoid a build-up of visitors and possible delays.
Is it 1 time slot per family?
Please book 1 slot per household – you are welcome to purchase more than 1 tree per household and to bring up to 2 cars per household. If for example you normally visit with your sibling’s family and your parents then please book 3 slots as this is 3 households. You do not need 1 time slot per person, it’s 1 per family.
How many slots should I book?

How many cars can I bring?
You are welcome to bring up to 2 cars per 1 slot booked.
How many trees can I buy?
You are welcome to buy as many trees as you wish but please remember to book 1 slot per household.
What do I do if I need to cancel my booking?
If you can no longer visit the farm at the time you have booked please email us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to cancel your booking and allow us to reallocate the time slot to another customer.
Can I turn up at the farm without a booking?
Please do not turn up at the farm without a booking as you will not be allowed to enter. The booking system will be constantly kept up to date so please visit our website christmastreefarm.ie to plan your visit and check time slot availability.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we offer ample parking and a collection area so you don’t have to walk too far with your tree.
How much are the trees?
Trees at Killakee Christmas Tree Farm are €60 for up to 8 foot. If you need a taller tree they are priced based on height. You can contact us for specific height pricing by emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

How can I pay?
We accept both cash and card at Killakee Christmas Tree Farm. We do not accept cheques.
Do you sell Christmas Wreaths?
Yes, we offer a wide selection of both medium and large wreaths handmade at our farm. Find out more about our handmade wreaths here.
Do you sell stands for Christmas Trees?
Yes, we offer twist in stands and water-based stands. We recommend water-based stands to prolong the life of your tree. We can trim the base or drill a hole in the base of your tree so your tree fits into the stand you will be using.
How can we transport our tree home?
At the Killakee Christmas Tree Farm we can net your tree for you (except very large trees) for ease of transportation. We have helpful staff on hand to assist you with securing your tree in the boot of your car or on the roof. Read more about Transporting your tree here.
Do you offer a delivery and collection service?
Unfortunately we do not provide a delivery or collection service. We have very helpful staff who can help to secure your Christmas Tree to your car.

What do we do with our tree after Christmas?
The county councils do a great job of recycling Christmas Trees turning them into mulch for the flowerbeds of the parks around Dublin. Take a look at where you can bring your tree to be recycled here.

Can I bring my dog to the farm?
Dogs on leads at welcome at the farm, please make sure you clean up after your dog.
