Why do I need to book a time slot for my visit in 2020?

Due to Covid 19 restrictions and government guidelines we need you to reserve a time slot for your visit to the farm this year. We will be managing crowd numbers with this booking system to ensure social distancing.

How do I book a time slot for my visit?

Visit our website christmastreefarm.ie and click on Book Now. This will bring you to the page where you can select the date and time you would like to visit the farm.

When is ‘Pick your own tree’ in the forest available?

Forest cutting will be available from December 1st - 14th and on December 19th and 20th.

What does my time slot mean?

The time slot you have reserved indicates the time slot within which you can arrive at the farm. Please make sure you arrive during your time slot window as late arrivals may be
refused entry. You are welcome to enjoy your visit to the farm for up to 90 minutes. This allows us to ensure you have a leisurely and safe visit and for us to welcome as many people to the farm as safely as we can. Please arrive on time (not early or late) to avoid a build-up of visitors and possible delays.

Is it 1 time slot per family?

Please book 1 slot per household – you are welcome to purchase more than 1 tree per household and to bring up to 2 cars per household. If for example you normally visit with your sibling’s family and your parents then please book 3 slots as this is 3 households.

How many slots should I book?

How many cars can I bring?

You are welcome to bring up to 2 cars per 1 slot booked. If you have made your time slot booking with a different car registration number than the one you will bring on your visit to the farm don’t worry, simply give the person at check in your name and number and they will be able to identify you.

How many trees can I buy?

You are welcome to buy as many trees as you wish but please remember to book 1 slot per household.

What do I do if I need to cancel by booking?

If you can no longer visit the farm at the time you have booked please email us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to cancel your booking and allow us to reallocate the time slot to another customer.

Can I turn up at the farm without a booking?

Please do not turn up to the farm without a booking as you will not be allowed to enter. The booking system will be constantly kept up to date so please visit our website christmastreefarm.ie to plan your visit and check time slot availability.

What Covid 19 precautions have you put in place at the farm?

Our No.1 priority is keeping everyone who visits our farm safe as well as keeping our wonderful staff safe. We have made lots of changes for your visit in 2020 to comply with government recommendations, we are very excited to share these changes with you as we feel they will enhance your experience at the farm. The precautions in place include a
One-way system for your visit around the farm, social distancing, mask wearing in areas where social distancing is not possible, allow our staff only to handle the pre-cut trees, availability of hand sanitiser, Perspex screens, additional hygiene measure for food and beverage, regular sanitisation of payment machine, cashless payment available.

Do you offer a delivery service?

Unfortunately we do not offer a delivery service.

Do you cater for elderly customers?

For any customers over 70 who do not feel comfortable visiting us at the farm this year and who live within 5km of the farm please contact us by email at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
about arranging delivery of a tree. Delivery slots for over 70’s are limited and subject to availability.

How long can I stay at the farm?

Dogs on leads at welcome at the farm, please make sure you clean up after your dog.
